The wonderful chef, resteraunteur, and leader of the slow food movement, Alice Waters of Chez Panisse catered dinner for the group, and brought with her a bevy of wonderful local produce, all crafted in a beautiful and thoroughly delicious manner. She spent about 15 minutes telling us all about the pfood, where it came from, and gave us all a brief introduction to the slow food movement. A wonderful aperitif to the delightful dinner!

I would ceratainly believe that a bowl of plums does indeed produce slow eating--if that is all Ms Waters could produce.

Actually, that's a bowl of cherries, not plums. And that was just the start of the meal...

Awesome story to go with a great picture. I'm an admin for a group called Michelin Stars, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.
