    Nothing like a 50mm... I tried the Sigma 50mm 1.4 in Tokyo last Monday and was very impressed. The bokeh is really nice and smooth. BUT it's a heavy hunk of glass unlike the 50 1.8.

    Maybe I should stop washing my car - love that dirty bokeh!

    I had my headlights on, and they lit up a barrier in front. I made that part a bit bluer in Potatoeshop, but not much really... I don't have a flash - yet, it's one of the many things on my wish list! =)

    Hah - knew I shouldn't have wasted time washing the car last week - just look at all the xmassy bokeh i've been missing out on. Mud & puddles here I come!

    In all seriousness, I love this shot - great vision to capture it in the first place and a very eyecatching and technically sound result.

    I was thinking of getting a very fast lens to further my own bit of bokeh snapping (and yes, I too was looking at the new 50mm Nikon), looks like less prezzies for others this christmas!
