Color Combinatorics: 9,261 sets of 3 colors

Best viewed large. Using a new algorithm I wrote in MATLAB, I can now generate a finite number of color set variations and create the final render in Photoshop CS3 Extended. In this example, I fed the algorithm 21 colors with 3 colors per set to create 21^3 = 9,261 sets. Learn more about Color Combinatorics algorithm here.

with nearly 1,300 views in ~ a month, the colors must be hurting the eyes of a lot of people. very interesting. would anyone like to see another series of colors generation? any special requests?

Those are lyrics I wrote to a song titled Screen Dream. The art seemed to be the perfect visual manifestation. The lyrics came from a dream about a screen that scanned your body to clean it from distortion. Psychic defragging.

i did ask darius if he could open up a way to automate the process of saving multiple colors into his database at the same time rather than manually entering one color at a time... but i haven't had time lately to see if that has happened.
