Here I'm using a bowl scraper to mix the wet and dry ingredients for the low-knead bread.
Once all the flour is moistened, but not kneaded, it forms a shaggy dough that is wet in some spots but dry in others. Looks like this.
i cover the 4 qt bowl with a 1.5 qt bowl. You can also use plastic wrap.
