This is my not-quite-a-survival-kit kit. Yes, it stays in a pack that stays in a bag that I carry everyday.

I keep adding stuff and removing stuff to and from this box, but practically everything here has been in the box for at least 2 weeks.

edit 2007.03.18: I stopped carrying this thing over a year ago. It stayed in my bag for a few weeks before I decided it was too bulky to carry around everyday.

Here's something... why don't you suggest what else I should put in here to make it even more useless?

Nice - is the box a certain brand, or more along the lines of something one might find randomly in a store?

Damn... I only realized now that I'd never commented on this. Oops...
Anyway, it's a box I found somewhere in the house. I think it was once used to sort medicine, or to store a sewing kit. I'm pretty sure you can find something like this in any hardware store, a hobby shop, or even a supermarket.

I'm curious why some of the items are included. Namely, the blank dog-tags, padlock, measuring tape, cordstop, and electric tape?

Baring the duct tape, it's a box of junk. You'd be better off with a CPR mask and a spare, charged mobile phone.

What the?!? Where did you all come from all of a sudden?

Anyway...

I stopped carrying this a long time ago and right now, I'm laughing so hard at all the comments you guys have made.

It's retarded and ridicuous. You gotta admit though. It's so stupid it's funny.

On another note, I still keep the duct tape and the cash stash.
