Red Lion courtyard

This is the Old Red Lion in Castle Acre. Once a pub, now a hostel/retreat and yoga centre. Our Tai Chi and Ba Gua group, led by Aarvo Tucker and James Langcake, occupied it for a while this summer.

The buildings have history, which could be seen in the many construction and modification styles.

Here, James and another group member rest between practice sessions, in the beautifully cobbled courtyard. The whole place was very special, and the care and philosophy which sustained it was easily seen by a still eye.
