Perch edit page, article template![]() ![]() This is a region set to use the default 'article' template, and set to allow multiple items.
The article template defines data such as the date, which is then picked up and presented with the appropriate controls at edit time. This is where things get really fun for microformats, as you may be able to glean, the author details are published as an hCard. The templates are just HTML files that you - as the designer/developer - can edit and add to as you wish. So they could be events in a calendar, or people profiles on a 'meet the team' page, or product listings in a simple online store. As you control the markup, they can be HTML 4 or 5, or XHTML, or even something else. grabaperch.com/ Would you like to comment?Sign up for a free account, or sign in (if you're already a member). |
