2-Sided POV says: SPACEMAN

in honor of getting linked to by hack-a-day: another photo of my POV project. this one uses the newer LEDs so the text is much more visible.

do the words rotate around slowly or hover in place, or is that dependent on the speed?

it's all dependent on speed. the next version will use a hall effect sensor and magnet (like a speedometer in reverse) to determine wheel velocity and adjust the timing so the text hovers.
