Isn't she beautiful? I mean, just look at her. 8 ft wide, the capacity to hold 3 heads. sigh. totally out of my league. I just stood shyly in the corner and ogled her from afar... There's 3 profoto 8a packs powering that sexy beast there, which retail at a startling $11,000. That's , ahem *each*. All in all there were 10 packs and 10 heads blasting away on the dancers. That's 24,000 Watt seconds of strobaliciousness. That'd be THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY of my on-camera flashes. There was a line to play with the cameras (BYO flash card) but I just couldn't be bothered. Everyone's pics pretty much looked the same anyway.

I was feeling nostalgic and missing film. I had this print on my fridge for a couple of years but then gave it to my neighbor because it made a nice diptych with one he has. I had to borrow it back to scan it because I couldn't be bothered to look for the negative.
