:-/ Funny story… While making my second pitcher of iced tea today, I
dumped ice directly into the hot tea water. Bad idea. I stood
helplessly as I watched a crack slowly travel up the pitcher and then
BAM. It split in half, spilling my tea all over the counter and floor.
A crisp, clean split straight down the middle! It was incredible…
So, then it became my picture for today. :D I put a blue bed sheet on
an ironing board, found a small piece of intact plate glass for my
stage. The SB-600 is below the ironing board on the floor pointed at
the wall. I set my white balance much colder, sharpened it up and
cropped it down. This is MUCH cooler than the self-portrait I had
planned for today…
PS I got my first for-hire photography job today! I'll be taking pictures of a local restaurant for their website… I'm nervous.
