Surbiton Railway Bridge closure - bus stop

Surprised driver confused and wondering where to turn
Surbiton Railway Bridge closure - bus stop by draml.
The railway bridge over Upper Brighton Road in Surbiton is being repaired this weekend and next. For such an insignificant bridge, the knock-on effects are amazing - disruption of all services out of Waterloo, and the closure of this road which is actually a very busy one, the main route from the M25 to Chessington, Surbiton and Kingston-upon-Thames.

Even though this bus stop is out of use and no buses stop here all weekend, you wouldn't know it from the lack of a "temporarily out of use" hood normally used to close a stop for any period of time.

Note the car speeding past, about to get very frustrated and confused by the road closure they didn't know about ...

Still, nice shot showing the early morning sunlight bathing the place in a golden glow.
