I have more teacups & saucers than my favorite English person! I took this photo out on the back steps overlooking the lovely little garden of mine and Martha's! I like to drink my tea out there, its very peaceful.

Is it English breakfast or Earl Grey?

no milk? You need more english training.

pieaddict: since you've been my trainer in things English, perhaps I need a better trainer? :P seriously, I've not been taking milk in my tea for the last few months till I feel better. Maybe I can do so again soon. xx
Although, there's something to be said for a clear cup of tea, it has such a gorgeous color and equally yummy flavor.

Ah the joy in a cup of tea
Earl Grey, green, or Darjeeling
The steam of sweet strong delicacy
Liven the senses, revealing
A render of grounds from far off lands
Pungent pleasures of Camellia kin
Cheering spirit, warming the hands
Bless the fresh bag, from the tea tin!

Lovely! There is nothing like a cup of good tea served in bone china. I have the RCD "Vine" crescent salad plates, and a "Vine" plate with flowers in the centre, and a huge collection of C&S, too.
