Thanks for your comment on my flower. I used Photoshop Elements to do the "on canvas" treatment. It has many of the same features as the full Photoshop program but only costs a fraction of the price -- in case that interests you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've been planning to move to CS2 for awhile now, but simply delaying. Actually, I find myself using GraphicConverter on the Mac for much of what I do.

Sometimes I sit on a sailboat, and move from side to side as called for by the wind. Sometimes, also, I play "squirrel" and pull the chute down below through the forward hatch. And I plan to be in Galveston taking pictures of the start of the Harvest Moon Regata at the beginning of October--the largest sporting event in the U.S.

I learned how to sail on a Laser, then grew up with a Hobie Cat and a Phantom (A sunfish knockoff). One brother in law had a 27 footer sailboat (cant remember what it was.. he is much older than I) and now my other borther in law got the J30.

Sailing is so awesome. I'm in missouri now, so I really appreciate it MUCH more now-- being far away from where I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
