The event as described by the promoter:

Peace In The City presents a night of dark new wave to tickle your goth pop taste buds. Bands from 8pm till 11pm then a free-for-all on our Good Ship juke box till 2am.

Suicide Party
www.myspace.com/suicidepartyuk
Painfully cool death surf complete with funeral organs and 80's goth pop joy.

Deathline
www.myspace.com/thedeathline
"Deathline are a female lead duo with a fine line in post artrock rumble that purrs like a new born kitten and shreds your skin like a tiger on speed. Kinda like a 21st century Sonny & Cher having lunch with The Raveonettes served by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' at Joy Division's greasy spoon cafe."
- The Devil Has The Best Tuna

Dark Sparks
www.myspace.com/ilovedarksparks
"Well, they'e certainly got the drama and drive of past mood pop heroes such as Echo and The Bunnymen and The Smiths but these boys bring an altogether more rambunctious attitude to their pop tones, with a healthy dose of grainy dissonance among the grandeur. Bullet in the Eye even manages to combine Editors-esque gloom with the vocal desperation of '80s post-punk demi-gods, Theatre of Hate and PiL. Let's hope they retain these fine qualities when the majors come a-knocking."

Another Man's Army

Dark and atmospheric rumblings with PJ Harvey and Tori Amos influences.

Six Inch Killaz - Flipside interview by Miss K

Six Inch Killaz - Flipside interview

This interview, conducted backstage at our last gig on April 8th 1999, was, apart from meeting to formally split up, the last thing we did together as a group. As such this means that my long, rambling retelling of the band's story on my blog is finally reaching a conclusion. Be grateful.

I'll publish a transcript and link to it shortly.

Bugger.

I find myself currently suffering from H1N1 (swine flu). My temperature's been high (38+) for the last two nights and the Tami Flu is doing weird things to me - I spent most of last night not being able to sleep because I was convinced that small creatures were trying to unscrew and run away with my right foot. The only way to stop them was to stamp it (the detached, runaway foot) when they'd got to the bedroom door, 10ft away, upon which point it would snap back and reattach to my ankle. This went on literally non stop from 2am to 5am.
