I've decided I'm quitting flickr. It's just not for me any more.

This was a great photo sharing community in the early days but in all honesty it has been in decline since Yahoo took over, not keeping up in terms of what photographers really need, and adding unnecessary and distracting features too.

I'd like to thank all the lovely people with whom I've connected here over the years. You all know how to get hold of me,

I will continue to share stuff on my Tumblr site (akin to what I have here) and my 500px profile (for my serious photographic work).

I will leave my photostream here and I guess when my pro membership expires, stuff will quietly become invisible.
