Not the best film. Not the best camera. Not the best scan. But I love it all the same. (:

This is a picture of me taking a blank shot with my camera (and loaded film).

On this day, I happily took out my Pentax ME Super and shot slide film for the very first time. It was Provia 100F and I can still remember the smell. I was too excited and overwhelmed to check if the film's loaded properly. It hadn't occurred to me before so I guess everything has its first.

I expensed every shot with intricate care and at the end of it, I only managed to rewind 2 rounds of the rewind crank - the film has not advanced past it's first frame.

Amongst the missed shots include, 1) CHIMJES @ Golden Sunset Hour 2) Traffic trails blazing through the Fort Canning Tunnel 3) Lighted windows of skyscrapers at CBD opposite Clarke Quay, of overtime white-collars workers 4) National Art Museum @ f/8 2secs exposure 5) Portraits of friends.

I SWEAR it will never happen again. Dammit!

a year and many days ago, we spent the last day of our spring break relaxing at santa monica, LA, USA.

amateur camera, low-grade lens, consumer film (expired?), really bad scanning. otherwise, great shot! :P
