The Big Slugger

The Big Slugger

Over the 4th of July weekend, I finally had a chance to go to a place I've been wanting to go for several years: The Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory in Louisville, KY. Being the baseball fan that I am, this was quite a thrill for me. The museum features priceless relics of baseball's past. You can also tour the factory to see just how a Louisville Slugger is made. I actually had the opportunity to watch bats being made for Boston's Dustin Pedroia. It's not hard to spot the museum when driving through downtown Louisville. Just look for the 120 foot tall bat out front. Even if you're just a casual baseball fan, I highly recommend the trip here.
