Emil Bell, was suffering the ill effects of a hunger strike to protest the idea of a Nuclear Waste Repository to be built in Saskatchewan, yet he mustered enough strength to motor to Saskatoon, and passionately address the crowd.

The occassion: "Fukushima, Nuclear Waste & The Future of Nuclear Power" a presentation by Gordon Edwards and _____________ (photographs).
Gordon explained the nuclear process and made strong points as to why all societies everywhere should steer clear of Nuclear Power. The legacy of spills, releases, meltdowns, human error, and long term remainders of Nuclear waste are compelling reasons to seek alternative forms of power generation AND conserving what we do use.
