Love the picture of the weedy sea dragon (
Phyllopteryx taeniolatus) grows to a mature
length of 18 inches (45cm) one of my fav sea
creatures. I am so flippin jealous you got
so close to one.
I like the shot, nicely framed with the weedy
isolated against the blue sea even if is is
turned away from you a little (but don't they
always). The head is in good focus even if
the tail looks a bit soft. However, the ones
I am used to diving with are not as
brilliantly coloured. To my eye only, it
seems a bit overstatuated, bright and sort of
too orange.
Amazing creature - beautifully colored. One small recommendation - if you have photoshop, you
might want to consider a touch of noise
reduction on the background; otherwise this
is a great shot.

Thanks, Alexander. I took the shot in the wild - it was at a depth of around 15 metres at Shark Point, Clovelly (Sydney).
