In-flight entertainment FAIL

Apparently, South African Airways runs some kind of Linux for their in-flight entertainment system.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

I'm actually mildly impressed something appliance-like doesn't run Windows for a change.

Weird though. I wonder what it would need with an NFS server. Maybe that's what serves-up the movies and such...

Paul: I'm willing to bet all the movies and general userspace is mounted off NFS and each seat only runs a diskless SOC or SBC.
