Banh Nam

When I got home from school my dad brought out a bunch of these and some banh bot loc too. They are "flat rectangular packets of banana leaf. Inside is a base of steamed rice flour, ground pork, shrimp, and wood ear fungus."

Apparently there is a place in Sacramento that sells them in bulk and all you have to do is put them in the freezer and whenever you want some you steam them and eat them with nuc mam.

SO GOOD!

Oh and I also found a great Banh Guide if you guys wanted to read up on vietnamese food!

breakfast burrito

yum yum yum. i sauteed a thinly sliced bell pepper in a little olive oil and added a little oyster sauce, then scrambled 3 eggs and added garlic salt and mrs. dash. heated two flour tortilla and threw a slice of turkey (under all that egg & cheese) and egg, grated cheese, and bell peppers onto the tortilla. add black pepper/salt/hot sauce!

the only thing i overlooked was the salsa :C, other than that it was pretty good.. im full!

bwhahah.. i haven't dont a self portrait in awhile and i felt like doing one today.
i was sweating the entire time, lawls!

i hardly do sp anymore.. i just don't feel as good about myself as i did before? i think its the braces! oh.. and thats a new american apparel shirt..woo woo. its xs and its still pretty big..i like it anyhow, its comfy. i got one for farmer too. <3

anyway..have a great weekend yah'll! i think ill do breakfast burritos on saturday/ sunday.. stay tuned! ;)
