Rožmberk
Rožmberk nad Vltavou (deutsch Rosenberg) ist eine Stadt im Süden Tschechien. Sie liegt nordöstlich der Stadt Hohenfurt im Tal der Moldau, zehn Kilometer von der österreichischen Grenze entfernt. Die Stadt ist von unberührter Natur sowie dem Flusslauf der Moldau umgeben. Rosenberg wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts an einem Handelsweg von Krumau nach Linz gegründet. Die Geschichte ist eng verbunden mit dem gleichnamigen Geschlecht der Rosenberger, auf die die Gründung der Burg Rožmberk zurückgeht. Die Aktivitäten der Rosenberger brachten der Gemeinde einen großen Aufschwung. Dies beweist, dass der Gemeinde in der Vergangenheit der Status einer Stadt erteilt wurde. Im Jahre 1620 ging die Herrschaft über in die französische Aristokratie – die Grafen von Buquoy. Sie führten die kulturellen und wirtschaftlichen Traditionen der Rosenberger fort.
Rosenberg nad Vltavou (Rosenberg) is a town in southern Czech Republic. It is located northeast of the city Hohenfurt in the Valley of Moldova, ten kilometers from the Austrian border. The city is surrounded by unspoiled nature and the course of the river Vltava. Rosenberg was founded in the first half of the 13th Century on a trade route to Cesky Krumlov to Linz. The history is closely linked to the same family of the Rosenbergs. They founded the castle of Rožmberk. The activities of the Rosenberg brought the community a big boost. This proves that the community in the past, the city status was granted. In 1620 came the domination of the French aristocracy - The Count of Buquoy. They continued the cultural and economic traditions of the Rosenbergs.

Wenn das kein idyllisches Fleckchen ist. Das Bild regt geradezu an, wieder mal dorthin zu fahren. Mein Besuch in Rosenberg liegt schon wieder fast 20 Jahre zurück. Ich erinnere michnoch gut an die mächtige Burg, von der du wohl dieses schöne Bild geschossen hast.
