This is a band whose name is Immigrant (just like that Led Zepp's song) that plays cover of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, all to a great extent, giving us a great sound. I really liked shooting their concert this day, lots of very nice images.

That is my dog, I took her with me for a nightwalk photographing my town. Applied emulation of the film Ilford HP5 400.

This photo was taken while going on a ride at Lagoa da Conceição - that`s my daughter in the picture, she loved riding the boat, the wind blowing her hair and drawing her a beautiful and happy smile. That was rewarding and worth getting a bit of sea salt on the lens' frontal element. ;)

On this day when walking with the dog I accidently came upon some people playing Capoeira on a Saturday morning. Thinking about this different theme for me - I've never had taken photographs of capoeiristas before and willing to do so I ran home and took my camera.
They were playing all the morning and the sun was already high, yet they kept playing as they had just begun, all very excited.
They were nice fellows, allowing me to photograph all of their performances as I wished, while I tried to keep a low-profile. This shot is one of my favorites of this session, showing the spontaneity, youth and happiness of a Capoeira player. There were people of all ages playing together and friendly. Capoeira is a nice art and allows a lot of different people to gather together around common objectives: fun, respect and happiness.
The church at the background is Catedral de Florianópolis, the main church in the town.
