Everyone seemed to do her best with the
situation. I mean, Kathie Lee is the TV personality and should have done a
little research, but I wonder if she, a
self-proclaimed Luddite, was just flustered
having been handed an interview to give about
computers. I'm not trying to make excuses,
but because Kathie Lee wasn't comfortable or
familiar with the subject matter, it was hard
to establish an unstrained dialogue without
all the insecurities popping up. I don't know
if that makes sense.

She just seems so fake. I've never seen any
one so insincere and patronizing, which
doesn't make her very good at what she does
(in my opinion).

Yeah, you know what? I missed the broadcast
and was really glad you put the video up, but
when I watched it I looked at her and at
first glance, thought to myself "who the
fuck is that blonde 30-something bimbo
wearing my dead grandmother's draperies on
national TV?!?" and then I was like
"wait a minute, that's Kathie Lee
Gifford after 100 grand worth of plastic
surgery." I hadn't seen her in a lot of
years so you'll understand how shocking it
was to me to see that in all this time, she
has actually gotten YOUNGER while the rest of
us have gotten OLDER!
She's seriously nasty. And she was a bitch
on the show. If she thought she hated
bloggers before, boy, she'll SURE hate them
now after reading these comments!

I watched the segment on your blog, and it
took me a good 5 minutes to realize that she
was Kathy Lee Gifford. She looks like a
COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON.

I don't care much for Kathie Lee and I was
super annoyed that Today gave this interview
to her, but so much hating on Kathie is
making me uncomfortable. She did a bad
interview but she wasn't able to make Heather
look bad, and in fact Heather seemed like the
veteran TV performer, looking gorgeous and
speaking in a relaxed, articulate manner with
style and grace. Kathie's day has come and
gone, but we want to replace her with
substance AND charm. No need for so much
venom. Just my opinion.

I agree with Free to go. As annoying as KLG
is, the network is at blame if you ask me,
giving a woman who is so clearly
uncomfortable and not knowing ANYTHING
allegedly about computers, an interview with
a woman who's sole career is computers was
just ridiculous.
The night line interview was more
professionally carried out!

ones with too much work. stretched tight tiny
people. they scare me most. add technophob to
the mix...game over. i have no use for you.
'cept maybe as a door stop. (the tiny feet
wedge nicely under the doors.)

She said in her book that Frank thought she
was fat when she weighed like 115 or
something retarded like that.
