Lincoln's Inn

Head at entrance to chapel an Lincoln's Inn. The chapel has had many rebuildings but its current structure was established in the17th century. Both Inigo Jones and Christoper Wren were involved at different times. John Donne, the metaphysical poet, preached there and his famous line " ...never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee" is said to refer to the Chapel bell.
