3/100: Gina

3/100: Gina by O moon.
This is Gina. I snapped her picture in the upstairs gallery of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

I liked her hair, and I wanted to photograph a woman after photographing David to keep things in balance. I was still nervous about asking, but it was a lot easier since I had just finished another shot less than ten minutes before. She was a lot more receptive than I thought she would be. I asked her if she was from Houston, and apparently she'd just moved here a week ago!

I also gave her my Flickr address, and still forgot the "photos" bit of my URL. Whoops.

No flash was allowed in the museum, so I had to get a little creative with levels in iPhoto.

This picture is #3 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at 100 Strangers.

She's cute. Congrats on starting this project. I joined a long time ago and still haven't started. As for your flickr url, it still works without the photos ie: www.flickr.com/donotkeepher
