Who the hell wouldn't?

This weekend was a bit of a rodeo, and this is the shot that kicked it off.
It started while late Thursday night when I decided on a bit of a whim to head over to the Palouse. I had three days off, I had never been, and the forcast was for at least two nights with clear skies.
So, between 10:30 and 11:00 pm I was out the door. Sometime between 2-230 am, I noticed stars, and began looking for a place to start shooting. Within about 20 minutes I found this field, and I was out of the car, and set up and shooting in about 5 minutes.
The trip was a wild one in which I only slept about 7-8 hours(in about 4 naps) between getting up thursday monrning, and getting home Sunday Morning.

I've driven by thise scene a hundred times and kept thinking, "one day I am going to stop by there and take a picture of thise. Well, this past Wednesday, while on the way to catch a ferry to Friday Harbor, I drove by and said it again, "One day I really need to....."

Yeah, I missed the ferry.

F'ck it. The day was still epic.
