A newish shot of a favorite subject of many here in Durham, the old Catsburg Store. I love the structure, but hate the location. The surroundings are unattractive at best, and the angles are limited if you don't want to be run over. This image was captured on 120 medium format film using a Holga toy camera. Negative scanned, processed in Photoshop.

One of the 19 stones that recognize the people executed as witches in Salem, MA. The dried rose was left by a previous visitor. I didn't set it up. I would love to go back there someday and shoot this memorial with a new eye.

Fishtown, Leland, MI. Once an active commercial fishing hub on Lake Michigan. Now mostly the home to recreational vessels and sport fishing.

A favorite shot from Spencer Shops, the North Carolina Transportation Museum. I like the symmetry of the parallel vertical and horizontal likes. The light falling gently from the left side of the frame creates just enough contrast show off the texture of the box car without being harsh. Shot on medium format film, negative scanned and image processed in Photoshop.
