Yes, it's realHe started wrapping himself around Kate - in a friendly way, I think. He only eats every 3 weeks. I'm not super squeamish around snakes, but the way his skin and muscle felt was really creepy.  His name is Chiquita, and he is 13 feet long and weighs 80 pounds. He's not a full grown python yet, though. He'll get to be about twice that big!
