Wild Places Still Exist![]() ![]() Explore: 7-6-09 (Page 25) Thank you my dear Flickr friends.
This is a shot of Headwaters Preserve, which is located in Geauga County, Ohio. The park draws its name from being the headwaters of the Cuyahoga River. This is a major fight path and nesting ground for bald eagles, osprey, heron and many other wonderful avian creatures. We saw one bald eagle nesting during our visit. Please view in large size to see the lily pads and other details in this photograph.. When you look at this photograph, it makes you believe "wild places" still exist in the world.
