    do you think it would be possible to knit these? maybe knit Totoro? I have some little soot balls and some eyes I need to glue them together

    hmm, I think you could knit a totoro, but I have no idea where to start with a pattern! There's someone in the Miyazaki crafting pool who's crocheted a totoro.

    I'm thinking you could maybe crochet soot sprites out of black eyelash yarn...
