I'm preparing for my trip to China and when I bought the currently I was a little surprised to see that Mao is still on the Yuan notes. Hmm.
I took some detail shots of the money as well - I always enjoy seeing the currency of different countries.
This shot was taken with my Canon EF 100mm Macro f/2.8L IS USM. Flash fired remotely with a poverty wizard to add sidelight to enhance the texture of the paper.
