My recently installed IKEA BESTA wall-mounted console. I used shorter doors to give access to the shelves. In these spaces I put my Onkyo receiver that controls the whole-house sound system, Sirius receiver, speaker selector, iPod dock, and laptop.

Very cool! I've looked on IKEA's website, but I can't figure out how you did this. I don't see a BESTA frame w/ 3 openings like you have above.

Its actually just 3 individual units. I believe they're about 25 inches wide by about 15 inches deep. They have another unit that's about 50 inches wide, but I wanted the seams on top to be symmetrical so I used three separate ones.

What a great idea! I was planning to buy them with full-height doors. But this is much better :)

This is a beautiful solution to an Ikea hack!

I love this hack, I have an Onkyo reciever and was wondering how you handled all the wires coming inot the back of the unit.
