This is a panel from a mini-comic I’ve written and am currently drawing. The story involves a pact between a dying monarch and a demon who can grant immortality. In this scene the court’s alchemist is offering what the demon seeks as part of the deal. I use all kinds of media to draw but in this case I’m drawing right into the computer with Autodesk Sketchbook Pro on a MAC and a Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch. I used to draw into Photoshop with custom brushes and tweaked settings but I found that Sketchbook Pro does a much better job as its drawing tools (imho) simply offer more organic looking results.
