new mittensTop down with seed-stitch stripes, thumb gusset, and i-cord bindoff. No pattern, I just knit 'em. They are nubbly and wooly and I like them quite a bit.

Jeny's surprisingly stretchy bindoffSpecs wanted to see how it looked without the contrast-color factor in the knitty tutorial. It's not the hands-down tidiest bindoff I've ever seen, but it's passable, AND it is indeed super-stretchy, AND my fave-rave tubular bindoff really only looks decent on 1x1 rib, and this is 2x2, so.
