very hard this is with an SLR, and one as
heavy as mine. I used a macro filter, +4.

Thanks! These are just inexpensive,
screw-on filters, like the one you buy to
protect your lens or UV filters, etc. They
fit every size (mm) lens. My 18-200 zoom
takes a 70mm, for example. Three came in the
set—a 4x, a 2x, and a 1x—for about $40, but
during the Christmas Google Checkout
introduction, I got $25 off my order through
Ritz Camera. They are fun to play with, even
though there is considerable distortion.
That's sort of neat, though. There are some
macro lenses that do an incredible job, if
you want to spend a couple hundred dollars.
