      Good macro, but focus might work better elsewhere composition wise?

      very interesting.
      now i do agree that there are certain portions out of focus, it is quite natural cos u r focusing at the centre and the rest is out of focus...charecteristic of a point a shoot.
      Try a wide angle lens or get the entire thing under focus by moving a lil away.
      Nice shot anyway and i like the pattern it generates

      I like it. Focus issue... hmmm I don't know, you could have shot straight on and gotten it most in focus, but then it wouldn't have had much depth. I would have taken a bit of the cyan cast out of the shot.

      Nice colors, and sweet image. Good idea but this kind of macro only works if the focus is really tight on one part of the image. Here everything is blurred. You need a very focused area in order for the eyes to have a "point of interest" as said above.
      And I agree that it needs to be slightly brighter. Like it is now, it is not highly exciting, and does not remind me of the sun at all.
