Binoculars
The story behind the binoculars:
It was either Christmas or Dad's birthday, and Mum wanted to buy him
binoculars, but there was no way she could afford them. She opted for
a cheap telescope from Argos. It came in a brown cardboard parcel and
it wasn't until 'wrapping up' time that she opened it. Instead of the
cheap telescope it was these binoculars, what she really would have
loved to buy him. But Mum was honest, she took them back. The sales
assistant wouldn't listen to her and snootily said 'sorry it's too
late to change them' and walked away!
So Dad got a pressie that he really loved!
