Playtime's Not Over
Fuck tires are expensive... I just replaced my rear 2 tires and BMW gave me the costco price plus an additional 15% discount and my bill was still almost $600. At least gas is cheaper these days right? I was jumping for joy when I saw $3.55 / gallon of premium today. 6 months ago I shelled out $5.15 / gallon when I ran out of petrol on the freeway coming back from Los Angeles. That was stupid.
Although I'm a little worried because OPEC is having an "emergency" meeting tomorrow to discuss lowering the supply of oil. That's just fucked up.

Nice shot. Sorry 'bout the tires. I buy cheap Kumhos since I only get 7K miles out of the rears anyway ;-)

Cool focus lighting and framing, ended up looking like it might find a place in a BMW catalog.

I'm glad I live in a country where it's actually possible to manage not having a car - not to mention a drivers license :-))
Great shot - the toning is perfect!!!

There is something about BMW styling that just oozes class; even on a model one is not familiar with, the smallest detail gives it away.
Great timing to get the light. (How many attempts did that take?)

I'm curious about your lighting on this shot. I believe that there's some direct light coming in based on the way the headlamps look, but without any reflections off the body off the car, it makes me wonder if you snapped this shot using ambient light and pointed the car at a somewhat distant light.
Great colors on this shot!
Maybe we should invest in a few barrels of oil and stash in our garage for the coming boom in prices? Can we do that? Buy low & sell high on the neighborhood streets?

Really good quality and shot. Very crisp, looks perfect. I really enjoy the bits of bokeh and the swirls in the blu on the hood and side. The reflection on the left of the lights is amazing too.
Nice focusing!
The lighting also highlights beautifully the hood.

I really did not understand, what you were trying to say thru the title.
But the colour is beautiful. It is a perfect bromide blue. The detaisl of the car is extremely vivid.
I wish you had removed that red spot for the front glass.

breautiful blue tone thru the photo. i think that looks spectacular. the focus is sharp and the dof is beautiful accentuating the curves of the vehicle.
i also really like the exposure you used to make sure that the highlights were kept and the blues got that bit darker which brought out some lovely contrast and refelctions on the hood.
i think i would have preferred you aimed a tad lower. the crop seems a little severe and i'd like to see more of the grill. the lens flare, (?) on top of the side view mirror is quite distracting, i'd clone that out personally. i dont mind that red dot though.
very nice image of a beautiful car.

Nice shot! I like the sharpness and the gradients especially. The only thing I think drags the shot down somewhat is the composition which could be a little more including, and the flare at the rear-view mirror. Overall, a nice capture! :)

That 85mm f1.4 is sick man. I love the blue and the reflections of this shot. I'm currently thinking if I should get the 60mm f2.8 macro or the 85mm f1.8, what do you suggest? Faved!!

But Dude, all said and done a Beemer is a Beemer, right?? I am always mighty tempted to trade in my simple Sonata for this perfect piece of machinery. The only thing that stops me is, I will be back to shelling out close to $500/month as repayment for car loan, and in this economy, maybe it isnt a good idea. *BIG SIGHHHHH*
Oh great shot btw.

Nice, nice shot! We are down to $1.20 per liter for 91 octane. That's the lowest it's been in months. I had to replace a tire (on my XJR) and it was about $400. Maybe I should trade for an Aveo?
