Macro Game Piece Monday

At this point, if you own the battleship, you're screwed...

Btw, have you noticed that playing Monopoly with friends, family or even strangers... it ALWAYS gets out of hand. I don't think I've ever finished a game without yelling.

By the time you've reached the level of building hotels, cash flow is a serious issue and landing on Boardwalk with a Hotel is pretty much game over. It costs $2,000 and who has four $500s by then? That's when you mortgage everything and start negotiating sales of property to just stay alive one more round... Not that it matters since you're screwed anyway cus you won't have any more income except "Go".

I got this Monopoly set in the 80s... the Battleship is starting to rust.

I learned so much playing this game about real estate and mortgages...It haunts me to this day. But I don't recall the battleship as a game piece, although, I do recall playing the game Battle Ship. Great macro, Marcus.
