The background is the TARDIS, The Doctor's spaceship - it's in the shape of a police phone box (this particular toy is a talking bank). According to the story (if you've never seen the show), it was supposed to turn into something inconspicious for whatever time/place it landed, but got stuck as a phone box and never changed again. It was a Christmas gift Syrtis brought me from England along with the two figures in front of it.

Yah, digicolleen, it's a BBC show! I've never seen that Allen Partridge show, but Syrtis has got me hooked on quite a few UK shows!!
