2007_11_04 Blue light in Greenland |
After the autumn equinox the light gets
long near the Arctic Circle, which is
where we were crossing Greenland
somewhere below its waistline, en route
from London to Denver. The light from
the Sun in the southwest just caught the
tops of the mountains, all capped with
snow, above fjords filled with glaciers
heading toward the sea.
