2007-07_29 Wintrop and Logan after a rainstorm

Except for the first two shots, all these wee taken after torrential rains from a passing thunderstorm made Logan Airport in Boston all but inaccessible to incoming planes. I shot them as I waited for my wife and kid to arrive from Providence, to which they had been diverted on a flight from Denver. Some people sat in Providence for many hours. Most of the shots were taken in Winthrop, a town on s peninsula east of the approach path to Logan from the north. It's what ou see when you come in and are sitting on the left side of the plane on that approach.
