Air tour of Cape Fear beach towns

A flight with my cousin, Mark Crissman, M.D., a pilot who had just passed his IFR (instrument flight rules) test. We (my sister, my kid and my self, as well as Mark) took his 1969 Piper Cherokee out of Brunswick County Airport near Oak Island, NC and flew up over Wilmington, out to Wrightsville Beach and Figure Eight Island, then down the coast past Carolina Beach, Cape Fear (Bald Head Island), Oak Island, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle and then back up past Oak Island and into the airport. It was a nice, hot, sunny summer day, and we enjoyed it totally.
