Storm Front in Silver Spring

An early Spring thunderstorm boils in the sky over Silver Spring, Maryland. It wasn't raining here yet when these shots were taken, but it did soon. The worst of the stom hit D.C., to the south. Since Silver Spring is adjacent to D.C. at its north end, these clouds were in fact above D.C.
