Santa Barbara Sunrises and 'sets, Nov-Dec, 2005

First is a series of eight shots toward Rincon Mountain, one of the newest — and fastest-eroding — features on the California landscape. Home to oil fields and also to the loose hillsides of dirt and rock that doom the coastal hamlet of La Conchita. Next are two more shots a week later. Next are sunset shots that include the crescent Moon and Venus. More added after that, including a few taken while clouds below hid the town and the sea.
