This series was shot through a chain link fence. Here's a wide-angle view. This is also more what the sunset actually looked like to a human, rather than just to a camera. The Nikon Coolpix 5700 also has a lens snout that cak peek through the holes. A big SLR couldn't do that.

Well, every other shot in the series was through the fence. They also had to be with telephoto, to avoid seeing the fence as well. But yes, I do like this effect.
