You did it, Brother! Dunoon, Scotland, the Firth of Clyde and the Holy Loch and even the point and the pier at Strone and the house I lived in when I was stationed there from 85-87, when the Loch was filled with US Navy Submarines and the USS Hunley. And just a bit farther up the Loch on the right is Ardfylane (if I remember the correct spelling) where I worked as the XO of the Naval Support Activity.

You said you'd get it one day, and you did! Fond memories of a beautiful place and the wonderful folks that live there. Thank you!

On the OS maps there is a Ardnadam, Ardpeaton and Ardentinny but no Ardfylane as far as I can see.

Your right - Ardnadam was where the HQ and the pier for the afloat units was located. Ardfylane was a grand hotel that had a wonderful menu out of Taste of Scotland. Thanks!
