What has been noted as "Grasmere" is actually Devoke Water, between Eskdale and the Duddon Valley. Wasdale has no T in it, unlike its lake, Wast Water.

Very impressive shot, though. Shows a great chunk of the Lake District (I'd say at least 1/5).

Thanks. Most of these notes were made by others. I'd love to visit up here, and on into Scotland, on one of my business trips to the U.K., which too rarely leave London. I also took your corrections to the tags, although I'm not sure I can change notes others have made on the shot. (Later...) Turns out I can. The T is gone from Wasdale.
