The wmca/570 and WNYC/820 transmitting facility, with three shared towers pointed toward New York City. Both stations phase their signals with the three towers to produce a strong signal over the City. WMCA is 5000 watts with the same pattern full-time, while WNYC is 10000 watts by day and 1000 watts by night, with two different but similar patterns. These same towers have been used by WMCA since 1947. WNYC moved here in 1989. Fybush covers the whole story here
