Hoyt Avenue is in here. That's the street where I was born, and where my father and his sisters grew up. The house was razed to make way for access roads to the bridge, sometime in the sixties.

A shot from New Jersey of northern Manhattan and Queens, across the George Washington Bridge and the Hudson River. My father, who grew up on Hoyt Ave (see note), was a construction worker on that bridge.
